Sri Lanka Expo 2027 is envisioned as a premier global platform that showcases Sri Lanka's diverse industries, export capabilities, and investment opportunities to the world. The exhibition will bring together local and international exhibitors, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders to foster innovation, collaboration, and sustainable economic growth. Organized by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) under the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, the Expo aims to reposition Sri Lanka as a preferred destination for trade, investment, and tourism in Asia, while strengthening international recognition and attracting overseas buyers and investors.

Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit | 12 - 13 October 2026

The 26th edition of the Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit will be held on 12 and 13 October 2026. The 2026 Summit will focus on a range of pressing national priorities, including economic growth, competitiveness, investment, trade, productivity, fiscal and structural reforms, sustainability, and the changing global economic environment.

Discussions will examine how Sri Lanka can build a more shock-resilient economy, strengthen its links to Asia’s growth networks through trade and regional value chains, reimagine healthcare as a driver of economic and social progress, address the balance between energy security, sustainability, and growth, and harness digital transformation to support national development in an increasingly connected world. The programme will also explore the future of education and skills development, as well as the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies for economies, businesses, and societies.

Sri Lanka MICE Expo | 5 - 9 October 2026 

The fifth edition of the Sri Lanka MICE Expo organized by the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) set to take place in Colombo from 05th –09th October 2026 aiming to further elevate Sri Lanka’s position as a leading venue for MICE tourism. The Expo has grown significantly—transitioning from virtual formats to in-person gatherings—while drawing participation from both local and international stakeholders.
